Affiliate Marketing Explained

I make money blogging in many different ways, but my favorite way is writing about about things that I love. You may not believe me, but it is actually possible to make some decent money just by writing about products that you enjoy using. This is known as affiliate marketing, and tons of people do it, including me.

The way it works is simple: First, you write some articles about a product on your blog. Then, people start reading your articles about these products. Sometimes, people will be interested enough in what you say about the product to want to buy it. That's why you include a link to the product on your blog so they can buy it. However, this isn't just an ordinary link. An affiliate link is a link that tracks who sent the user to the link, and knows to give the proper affiliate a commission in the event of a sale.

I have many, many sites dedicated to affiliate marketing, and I have made a decent living from them. The beauty of this whole business model is that you never have to buy or sell products yourself. All of the shipping and selling is handled by the merchant, you just send them traffic. All of the hard work is handled for you. Isn't that great?

The best part about affiliate marketing is that you don't have to pay anyone to become an affiliate. In fact, you can sign up for free right now to a number of different affiliate companies.

Try looking at Amazon Associates and Clickbank for starters, they are wonderful affiliate networks.

On my next blog post, I'll be explaining CPA Marketing to you. Goodbye!
